Upcoming Projects

Main Street - 12” Water Main

A waterline replacement project will be taking place on Main Street in Ranchester between Railway Street and HWY 14.  The project will consist of asphalt removal along with replacing the 12” water transmission main at this location.  If funding is available, an additional portion of water line going across HWY 14 to the south will also be replaced.

Wolf Creek Road Reconstruction

Sheridan County and the Town of Ranchester are planning to have a section of Wolf Creek Road reconstructed.  This section of Wolf Creek Road runs from the Town’s maintenance shop to just south of the approach going towards H Street.  The existing asphalt pavement will be removed and new crushed base and 4 inches of new asphalt pavement will be placed.  Additional storm drain piping is also planned to be placed under the roadway along with gabion basket repairs.

Wyoming Department of Transportation is planning to continue work on the HWY 14 bridge going over the BNSF railroad throughout the year.
